Carl Melville is the founder and Chief Marketing Officer of The Melville Group, an organization dedicated to helping contract packagers and other supply chain organizations drive revenue, boost profitability, and create enterprise value through superior market penetration strategies and program execution.
A 20 year veteran of the industry, Carl has held senior marketing roles in software developers, contract manufacturers, contract packagers, and 3PL organizations, including public, private, and Private Equity-owned firms.
With a mission to “Helping Supply Chain Companies Grow”, Carl and his team work with some of the fastest growing contract manufacturing, contract packaging, and equipment companies in the industry. By combing strategy, thought leadership, and technology, Carl has helped supply chain companies of all sizes compete more powerfully in the marketplace.
Carl’s firm also produced the Contract Packaging Association’s 2018 State of the Industry Report, conducting all research, interviews and report development.
Carl is a noted speaker, advisor, and writer on marketing in the supply chain. He is also a strategic advisor to multiple industry associations, including The Contract Packaging Association. A Chicago native, he currently resides in San Diego.
