Ground Transportation
The Westin Beach Resort is located 8 miles, or about 15 minutes, from Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL)
and 32 miles, just under an hour, from Miami International Airport (MIA). Taxis, shuttles and private car services are
plentiful at both airports, and you'll also find all the major rental car companies.
The following options are available for transportation from Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) to the hotel:
- Taxis are metered and, by local law, can take a maximum of five people.
The average fare from Fort Lauderdale Airport to the resort is $20-$25. - Private Car: For a more exclusive ride to and from the airport, you might consider private car service, easily arranged for you
by the Westin Beach Resort's concierge. Private sedan, $80; Private limo, $110; or Private van, $138 are for a one-way trip to/from
Fort Lauderdale Airport. Prices include a 20% gratuity, airport fees, parking, and tolls. (Prices subject to change,

and you’ll be quoted the best comparable rate available.
Advance reservations are recommended, as cars are subject to availability. Rates are based on roundtrip rentals .
Exception- Vehicles rented in Florida can be returned to any Hertz location within Florida.
Onsite valet parking is available at the Westin Beach Resort ($11 to $25 USD per day).

During the month of June, Fort Lauderdale’s temperatures are typically warm with an average high of 88° and an average low
of 74° Fahrenheit. Suggested attire for the meeting is business casual.
